Weller TCP-S Information The Weller TCP-S is a 50W, 24V soldering iron that uses the Magnastat technology to provide a fast and consistent heatup time. The Magnastat system uses a ferromagnetic sensor to detect when the soldering iron reaches the desired temperature, which then turns off the power to the heating element. This helps to reduce power consumption and extend the life of the soldering iron. The TCP-S comes with a PT 7 adapter (for 370°C) and a LT M soldering tip. The adapter fits into the soldering iron's tip socket and the soldering tip is then screwed into the adapter. The soldering tip is made from a high-quality alloy that provides excellent heat transfer and durability. The TCP-S has a three-wire silicone cord that is heat-resistant and flexible. The cord terminates in a standard IEC connector that can be plugged into any 24V power supply. The soldering iron is also hard-grounded to provide added safety.

It is ideal for a variety of applications, such as soldering, thawing, melting, and more. The burner has a maximum temperature of 1300°C and a burn time of up to 45 minutes.
